Farm Tours
As stewards of the land, we strongly believes it is our responsibility to educate the public about agriculture and its importance in our society. We offer opportunities for families or small groups to spend a week or weekend experiencing farm life and understanding how food gets from our farm to your dinner table. We are also able to organize multi-farm tours, cattle ranch tours, and multi-state farm tours.

How We Serve Our Community

The Mattson family takes an active role in their communities: in their town, in their industry, and in their environment.

Janice
While a Director on the Montana Wheat and Barley Committee, Janice had the opportunity to directly check off dollars, collected from the farmers, to programs used for research, education, and marketing of their products. While serving on the U.S. Wheat Associates Board, Janice traveled to meet with buyers around the world and share the farmer’s industry perspective. Statewide, Janice met with many trade teams from around the world who came to Montana to physically be on our farms to see the crops and products we were offering for sale.
Carl
During Carl’s tenure on staff with Montana Grain Growers (MGGA) and National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) Montana Stockgrowers
Association (MSGA), he dealt with conservation programs. Carl assisted ranchers and farmers to better understand the programs the government was proposing. With this education, more families were able to participate and be accepted into a variety of conservation programs
offered during this time.
Vince
Montana Grain Growers (MGGA) and National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) Vince served as a Director on the MGGA board for several years before committing to going through the leadership chairs. In 2021, Vince is the Past President and will be finished with the leadership commitment at that time.
